TRAINING AND CONSULTING
As utilities apply new technologies for consumers to better manage their energy use, integrating the new tools and providing education should be a high priority. We still send out bills, and we still get questions about usage every day. The need to address, educate and empower the utility consumer will always be there. The skill sets that are needed to have the “right” conversations with consumers become the foundation for changing the relationship between the utility and the consumer. Our specialty is employee training, planning, and analysis, with consistent high evaluations from participants over the years.
McKnight Associates offers classes and consulting on a wide range of topics that directly impact the electric industry and electric cooperatives. The course instructor is Eddie McKnight, a 34 year veteran electric cooperative employee who has dealt with these topics for decades. Since his retirement in 2014, he has been traveling nationwide sharing his knowledge with utilities to help their consumers.
